The City of El Paso's Transportation Planning division will hold a community design charrette on Wednesday, January 29th from 3 to 8pm in the Zach White Elementary School Community Room.

The meeting will discuss improvements to River Bend while maintaining its two-lane thoroughfare.

A formal presentation will be given at 6pm.

The charrette process is designed to allow residents extensive input in the creation of concepts which will eventually be used to design the roadway.

This process will allow those in attendance to interact electronically with designs, vote for their favored options, and display results in real-time.

The concepts selected as a result of the charrette process will be used as the city seeks funding and makes long-term transportation plans.
