EL PASO - The El Paso City Council voted to table a controversial ban on dog and cat sales in the city until October.
The proposal, which would have prevented pet stores and unregistered breeders from selling dogs and cats in El Paso among a few other things, was put off until October 5th.
Mayor Cook says he plans to take input from the newly formed El Paso Coalition for the Welfare of Pets before examining the issue again in exactly 56 days.
