City Charter public informational meetings begin

For the first time in six years, El Pasoans will get to vote on proposed changes to the City Charter.
Starting Wednesday, you can attend some informational meetings.

Some of the amendments voters will decide on in the May election include moving city elections from May to November in even number years, increasing the Mayor and Council's pay to match the County's median income, and adding gays to its nondiscrimination policy.

Each city rep will host a meeting.
