Citizen's Board, Permit Fees on Council Agenda
EL PASO - City council will decide whether to take more action today on the winter storm that crippled the city.
One item on the agenda is representative Steve Ortega's proposal to create an independent citizen's review board to investigate the utilities' handling of the storm.
Another is representative Eddie Holguin's proposal to waive the fee for plumbing permits.
Council may also discuss an amendment the city's emergency action plan to include provisions about the utility companies.
