CANUTILLO - Students and teachers across the state of Texas are already preparing for the newest state mandated test.

The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness or STAAR will replace the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills or TAKS test next year.

Today, NewsChannel 9 will speak with teachers from the Canutillo Independent School District during their training to find out how they are preparing students for the new test.
