The Juarez mountains tower over downtown El Paso, and for many years, owners of the mountain range have taken to putting up phrases on the side of the mountain.

A source for NewsChannel9 says that the phrases on the side of the mountain are from 'The Light of the World' church. The words are a celebration of the church's main leader, Samuel Joaquin Flores, and his 50th anniversary with the church.

The phrase says:

50 A
Apstol
S.J.F.

Flores began leading the church in 1964 and has three locations including El Paso. Overall, the church reportedly has about ten thousand members in the border community combined.
