EL PASO--- A man is shot right in front of his home early Christmas morning and investigators are trying to find the shooter with very few leads.
According to police, witnesses reported seeing 39-year-old Gerardo Munoz-Marquez outside his home arguing with someone inside a car.
Just before 3 a.m., the person shot Munoz-Marquez with an unknown firearm, hitting him twice in the upper body.
Munoz-Marquez is in critical but stable condition at University Medical Center.
Investigators want to find the person responsible for putting him there, but witnesses couldn't give a description of the vehicle or the person inside.
Neighbors we talked to said Munoz-Marquez was new to the neighborhood and wasn't well-known.
Police believe the shooter did somehow know the victim, they're asking anyone who has any information to call 832-4400.
