Children who eat more meals with their family consume more fruits and vegetables than those whose families rarely eat together.
A new British study assessed how many children were eating the recommended five servings of fruits and veggies each day.
Researchers found on average, children consumed only three-point-seven portions a day, but kids who always ate family meals together consumed about one and a half more servings of fruits and vegetables than those who never ate with their families.
