FORT BLISS - Fort Bliss officials conducted a senior leadership change of command ceremony this morning.  The new in-coming Fort Bliss Commander is Maj. Gen. Dana J.H. Pittard.

He is a 1981 graduate of the United States Military Academy, at West Point and Eastwood High School.

He holds a Masters Degree in Military Arts and Science from the United States Army School of Advanced Military Studies at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

The out-going commander, Maj. Gen. Howard B. Bromberg will depart Fort Bliss, however no official announcement has been made by Department of the Army as to his new assignment.
