CDC Report Shows Disparity in Breast Cancer Victims
A new report by the Centers for Disease Control reveals there are still large disparities in breast cancer among American women. Black women continue to have the highest death rates from the disease than any other racial or ethnic group.
In fact, they are 40% more likely to die from breast cancer than white women. Experts say more education is needed to make women aware that many health plans now offer mammograms at no cost.
