EL PASO — Two years after 15-year-old Sergio Hernandez Guereca was shot and killed by Border Patrol, the Border Network for Human Rights will hold a march calling attention to what they call a need for justice. The group will march to the Black Bridge where Hernandez Guereca was killed.
BNHR is launching a campaign asking President Obama to put accountability and oversight mechanisms in place for border enforcement agencies.
March for Justice will be held Thursday at 3:30. Marchers will depart from San Jacinto Plaza in Downtown El Paso and walk 1 mile to the Black Bridge.
