Busy Travel Day

Today is traditionally one of the busiest travel days of the year.

This year is a bit different at the nation's airports because of new transportation security administration screening procedures.

Although, nationally it was said people were planning to boycott the new body scanners, here in El Paso we haven't seen any protests.

Today, is typically one of the busiest travel days of the year but lines here a the airport are running smoothly.
We didn't see anyone opt out of the body scan.

The alternative to the body scan is getting a pat down which can take several minutes.

As usual there has been tons of traffic in and out of the airport with holiday travelers.

However, it's been business as usual or better than usual here at the airport considering it's the busiest travel day of they year.

Most people were worried about the radiation of the body scanners but preferred that to the pat-down because they thought it was a little too personal.
