A suspected burglar escaped deputies only to be caught again.
Deputies rushed to the 13000 block of Amherst on word of a storage building being burglarized.
Footprints at the scene led them to Jesus Martinez, 17, who lives on the same block.
Deputies say they placed Martinez in a patrol unit but he managed to bring his handcuffed hands to the front and leave the car through a window.
Deputies chased him down and brought him back into custody.
Investigators say Martinez confessed to the burglary. He remains in jail.
