This may look like a regular classroom.
But once the iPad lights up the room, these kids turn into miniature Steven Spielbergs and early seedlings of actors, directors and journalists.

"Lights, Camera, Teach," a special summer program at Eastwood High school, gives students a chance to learn the process of story telling with the help of iPads, apps and a whole lot of teamwork.

Students this week raised the curtain to a virtual anti-bully campaign. The finished trailers will show the right and wrong ways to deal with a bully.

"We're learning different skills to deal with bullying and how to stop them, and how to not listen to them " said Angelique Trillo.

So.. How do you deal with the bad guys?

"Just walk away, or if they keep doing it.. just tell the teacher," said Nicole Hernandez

NC9 spoke with teachers Mrs. Hand and Mrs. Daniels, who take the lead roles in the summer program. They stress the importance of a hands on approach and reinforce the lessons they teach with technology.

The mini movies will make their first showing Wednesday morning, complete with popcorn and a mom and dad audience.
