People who want to donate money to the bullied New York bus monitor who made headlines last month are almost out of time.

An online fundraiser for Karen Klein ends Friday at midnight on indiegogo.com. The original goal was to raise five-thousand dollars to send her on vacation. As of 2 p.m. Friday, the website had raised almost $670 thousand dollars.

The outpouring of support came after a 10-minute video of Klein went viral last month. It showed the grandmother of eight being verbally harassed by four middle school students on a bus. After public outcry, the kids were suspended from school for a year, and ordered to complete 50 hours of community service with senior citizens. The website says Klein will get about 93 percent of the money raised. It says it will keep its standard 4-percent plus 3-percent to cover credit card processing fees. No word yet when Klein will get the money.
