EL PASO, TX — A boy is recovering after he nearly drowned at a hotel in east El Paso.

Two nurses spotted a 4-year-old boy and pulled him out of the pool.

It happened at the Chase Suite Hotel on Montana at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

The nurses performed CPR while emergency crews arrived.

The boy was responsive and alert as he was rushed to University Medical Center.
