LAS CRUCES- Police say a 15 year-old boy stabbed his mother's boyfriend on Sunday.

Martin Escobedo has been charged with aggravated battery and assault with a deadly weapon after stabbing his mother's boyfriend in his buttocks.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Find out if the boyfriend and mother were abusive to the kid! Most kids don't attack there parents unless they are provoked by years of abuse.
