Bowie High Assistant Principal Resigns After Suspension
EL PASO — A Bowie High assistant principal suspended last week has resigned from El Paso Independent School District.
Fifty-nine-year old Johnnie Vega turned in his resignation Thursday. He and two other Bowie employees were suspended last week while school officials investigated their roles in the district's cheating scandal.
The other employees suspended were assistant principal Anna Luisa Kell and Felipe Cobos, a counselor.
