Boston Marathon adds spots for unfinished racers
Boston — The Boston Athletic Association said it will add 9,000 spots to next year's Boston Marathon.
The coveted entries were added to help accommodate the 5,000 runners who couldn't finish the race in April because of the terror attack there.
The group will plant yellow daffodils along the race route as a sign of rebirth.
The double bombings near the finish line killed three people and injured at least 264.
