Borderland residents kick-off Easter weekend at Northeaster Parade
Thousand of El Pasoans enjoyed more than 100 floats at today's NorthEaster Parade.
The 35th annual Northeaster Parade, which started at 10am at the intersection of Diana Drive and Hercules, was led by the Ft Bliss Color Guard and the US Army Band.
This year's Grand Marshal was Stanley Jobe.
"It's an event for the community. It's an afternoon, where people can enjoy each other, friends, family and their kids." said Parade Chairman, Jack Sturgis.
This is a community parade, organized by an all volunteer committee and civic organizations.
This years parade is sponsored by Mimbela Contractors.
