There is no end in sight to the violence across the border.
A former Chihuahua attorney general is one of the latest to fall victim. Etzel Maldonado was shot as he was returning to his home in Chihuahua City. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
A municipal police officer in Juarez is also dead after being ambushed. Several suspects stopped his van and shot him. He died instantly.
Three club-goers were the target of another shooting. Gunmen opened fire in front of a crowd at Arriba Chihuahua
No one was arrested in any of the murders.
