El Paso, Texas -El Paso Sector Border Patrol Agents in New Mexico and Texas arrested four drug smugglers and seized nearly 850 pounds of marijuana in three separate seizures during a 48-hour period.  In addition, Lordsburg agents arrested one person and seized more than 375 pounds of marijuana, valued at $300,000.  Agents at the Fabens port of entry seized more than 100 pounds of marijuana with an approximate street value of more than $80,000. Two people were arrested in that incident.  In another drug bust, agents assigned to the traffic checkpoint on I-10, west of Las Cruces stopped another load of marijuana from reaching the streets.  Agents there took one person into custody and seized approximately 360 pounds of marijuana, valued at just under $300,000.  Marijuana seizures are down 13 percent from the same time last year.
