Boil Order Lifted Today

EL PASO - A boil order for El Paso will be officially lifted at 10 a.m. as homeowners continue to struggle with ruptured pipes from the recent deep freeze.
El Paso Water Utilities had warned homeowners to boil water to kill possible contaminants although there has been no indication the water is unsafe to drink.
That boil order is officially rescinded this morning.
Thousands of people are struggling with burst pipes that lowered water pressure and forced EPWU to impose water restrictions.
Those restrictions were lifted Tuesday.
Some water customers were hit harder than others.
