Blood Supply Depleted

EL PASO - United Blood Services of El Paso says that because of the power outages and water issues, they lost a projected 600 liters of blood. That number represents what they could have collected had their center still been open.

But because of the crisis that swept the city, they were forced to close down like everyone else.

They say it's not an emergency situation, but that if the city experiences another disaster like this their supply could be depleted.

They're asking you to step up and donate. You can do so by visiting any of their donation centers:

Why doesn't United Blood Services have a back up generator for the refrigerators that store the blood? Wouldn't that be reasonable?
