Hundreds of bikers participated in the El Paso Motorcycle Coalition's 30th Annual Toy Run Sunday morning.

The run starts in Sunland Park, crosses Transmountain and ends at Cohen Stadium where bikers deliver the toys that will go to need children.

"There's one thing you can always say about bikers they're people too and they love the kids," said a biker in a Santa Claus suit.

To participate in the ride, bikers must pay a small fee of $10 which goes to the purchase of a new toy.

El Paso Mayor John Cook, who has been riding in the toy run for about 15 years, said if it wasn't for the work of bikers some children might not get gifts this holiday season.

"These are kids that probably wouldn't have gotten anything for Christmas, but the biker community steps forward and makes sure they get something," Cook said.

The bikers delivered hundred of stuffed animals, dolls and toy cars to Cohen Stadium in hopes of putting a smile on a child's face.

"I'm sure it makes their day," said Clis Calleros.
