Bigger reward offered for cat arsonist
Las Cruces, NM (KTSM) — Las Cruces police are adding to their reward, hoping to catch whoever set a cat on fire in Las Cruces. It happened back in October at an apartment complex on Missouri Avenue.
The short hair cat, named Rosie, died from the injuries she sustained. Witnesses say they heard laughter coming from the direction the cat had run from.
Las Cruces Crime Stoppers was offering $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. That's now been upped to $1600.
