Beloved country singer, Marine veteran, Ray Price dies at the age of 87
Famed and beloved East Texas country music singer and United States Marine Corps veteran Ray Price, has died at the age of 87.
The official statement was released by Bill Mack via his Facebook page.

Price's wife, Janie, had been holding a constant vigil by his bedside in Mt. Pleasant since leaving East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, December 12.
Price confirmed he had been battling pancreatic cancer in November 2012.
Some of his most recognized hits include, "Release Me", "Crazy Arms", "Heartaches by the Number", "For the Good Times", "Night Life", and "You're the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me". Price also served in the USMC from 1944 -1946.
Price was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996.
