Beer drinkers in America have reason to celebrate. According to a recent study of 150 countries, it takes Americans just five minutes on the job to earn enough money to buy a beer.

That equals 96 beers over an eight-hour workday or 480 beers over a 40-hour workweek. On average, it takes a typical worker of the world 20 minutes to earn enough money to buy a beer.
