EL PASO - It's hard to say how much work and effort the employees at Home Instead put in leading up to Tuesday night. They start 4 months in advace planning the "Be a Santa to a Senior" program.
"Seeing that senior's face light up when you bring them that gift and they're not expecting it is worth all of the long nights and hard work that goes into it," said organizer Jennifer Mansion.
This year there are 800 needy seniors who's names will be put on Christmas trees in Walgreens across El Paso. Once the senior's gifts are purchased and collected, they'll be wrapped. This year the El Paso Police Department, the Department of Public Safety and several other organizations will help with the wrapping.
