EL PASO — The El Paso Better Business Bureau planned a free shredding event on Saturday at Ready 1 to help prevent identity theft. 

Organizers said there would be no limit as to how much individuals could bring. Donations would be accepted to benefit the Better Business Bureau Foundation. 

The event will take place Saturday, July 28 at 11460 Pellicano from 9am to 2pm.
