Bank Robbery in West El Paso

UPDATE:  2:46 p.m.  Investigators say a man approached a teller with a note and demanded money.  The teller handed over an undisclosed about of cash.  The suspect fled on foot towards the Acacia Park Apartments. The suspect is identified as a white male, about 35 years old, 5'3" tall, 135 lbs. with a scar on his upper lip.  He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, grey jeans, dark sunglasses, tennis shoes and a white baseball cap.

EL PASO - The FBI is investigating the latest bank robbery in El Paso.

Someone held up the United Bank at 125 Mesa Hills shortly after 10:30 this morning.

The bank is not far from local FBI offices.
