JUAREZ - Axel Joel Quintana was the first baby born in Juarez this year. He was born at midnight at a hospital in downtown Juarez.

The city and the Association of Juarez Journalists sent the baby some gifts.

Both baby Axel and his mother, Margarita Quintana, are in good health.
