Attempted Robbery at West El Paso Jewelry Store

El Paso – Two people are in custody for trying to rob a jewelry store on the Westside, said a police spokesperson.

Police say a man and a woman walked into Estate New Jewelry at 7134 N. Mesa.

The man was reportedly in a wheelchair and the woman used a knife to try and steal jewelry.

Police are still investigating.

Then where are you when she needs help. Like making her go to the doctors or making her take her meds. Everyone is so quick to blam a mental illness because they think it's ok or it excuses the action, guess what it doesn't. If she needs to be medicated then be there for her and make sure she takes them. Otherwise she knows right from wrong and it's just an exuse.

I feel sad and hope the people she harmed forgive her. She is not the monster they are making her look like. With her mental condition she's in, she wasn't herself. Love her always her brother.

I hope she gets the help she needs!

This is my sister and she is mentally challenged!

I hope people aren't amused by this, because she is mentally challenged and she has alot of family who love her.
