El Paso - Former workers with the Artisan Hotel in El Paso insist they deserve to be paid.
The Paso Del Norte Civil Rights Project is holding a news conference today to support dozens of workers who claim they did not get paid in the wake of the company's bankruptcy.
A NewsChannel 9 Troubleshooters report highlighted the problem in January.
Rebecca Rincones told us she was not able to cash her check despite claims by Artisan's owner that he had already paid her.
The owner, Douglas Dasilva, would not comment to NewsChannel 9.
The Artisan Hotel is located at the corner of Kansas and Main in the heart of El Paso's arts and financial district.
