EL PASO, TX - One day after several homes go up in flames at the hands of an arsonist we talk to firefighters about what's going on.

There are still very few details being released in the investigation, but we are told first indications point to an arsonist - who may just be getting more bold.

Five vacant homes have been destroyed by fire since January, the latest two were reduced to ash and the fire that destroyed them also burned the sides of two next door homes. As we reported, inside one of those homes a woman and two children were sleeping. Now the fire investigators are trying to track down the person responsible before someone gets killed.

"Were asking that anyone with information on this fire, or any of the other vacant building fires please report the information to CrimeStoppers or the Fire Marshal's office at 771-1090," Battalion Chief Sam Pena said.

Specific details in the investigation, like how the fires are being started, are not being released right now because investigators don't want to jeopardize their case.
