Arson case unsolved
Doña Ana County — Doña Ana County Sheriff’s investigators are working the Doña Ana County Fire Marshal’s office to help solve what they call an apparent case of arson that destroyed a million-dollar house north of Las Cruces. They are now asking for your help.
Fire and emergency crews were called to the 300 block of Tahnee Mara Road in Rincon on November 6 of last year, just before 5 p.m. When they arrived, the home and three vehicles parked in the garage were engulfed in flames. Both the home and the vehicles were a total loss. Damages were estimated at more than $2 million dollars.
An initial investigation proved the house fire was a result of arson, but no suspects have been identified.
