A Vado man who was arrested and released for allegedly fleeing from police and resisting arrest, is now wanted on those same charges.

According to the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department, deputies tried to stop Victor Carreon, 22, for speeding near Addington Rd. and Highway 478 in Las Cruces, but he fled the scene.

Deputies eventually found him hiding near Las Cruces High School, and he was arrested.

However, a judge said certain court documents were missing from Carreon's case file, so Carreon was released.

Investigators filed the corrected documents, and a warrant has been issued for Carreon's arrest.

According to investigators, Carron also has pending drug charges from December 30, 2012.
