Army Medical Center Observes Change of Command
FORT BLISS — Comman of William Beaumont Army Medical Center was relinquished by Brig. Gen. Dennis D. Doyle and handed over to Col. Michael S. Heimall during a ceremony Wednesday morning.
Army officials reported that Doyle will be assuming command at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu.
Heimall's immediate past assignment was as the assistant chief of staff and director of TRICARE Transition at Western Regional Medical Command, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. Prior to that he was Commander of the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity and Irwin Army Community Hospital in Fort Riley, Kansas.
