Apple's CEO Takes Another Medical Leave of Absence
SAN FRANCISCO, CA— Apple's founder and CEO announced Monday he is taking yet another leave of absence from work.
Steve Jobs, a survivor of pancreatic cancer, sent a note to his employees Monday morning saying he is taking a medical leave of absence due to his health.
Jobs did say he will continue as CEO and will still be involved in major decisions. He has asked Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook to be responsible in his absence.
Cook was also in charge in 2009 when Jobs also took a medical leave.
