Appeals court reinstates some Texas abortion rules
A Federal Appeals court issued a ruling reinstating most of Texas' Tough New Abortion Restrictions. The restrictions were slated to go into effect this past Tuesday, but a lower court blocked them.
The current ruling means as many as twelve clinics won't be able to perform abortions starting as soon as today (Friday).
The new restrictions will remain in effect until January when the appeals court will hear oral arguments on the constitutionality of the law.
