Appeal Hearing for Daniel Villegas Starts Today

EL PASO – He's spent the last 17 years in prison for a crime he claims he didn't commit, and now he's hoping a judge will agree and set him free.
Daniel Villegas, now 34, was convicted of a drive-by shooting in the northeast back in 1993. He was only 16 at the time and says he was coerced into confessing.
His final appeal hearing begins this morning at the El Paso County Courthouse.

Daniel I your innocent I remember that day you where at the movies watching WHITE MAN CAN'T JUMP at northeast theater. So how could you have been there? Because YOUR INNOCENT!
