LAS CRUCES — Several cats and dogs released from evidence in several Doña Ana County animal-cruelty investigations will be up for adoption this Saturday.
The adoption fair, hosted by investigators and members of the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department Animal Cruelty Task Force, will take place Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tractor Supply Company in Las Cruces, 1440 W. Picacho.
"These animals have all been under the constant supervision of our on-site veterinarian, and are all completely rehabilitated and healthy," said Investigator Robyn Gojkovich. "What they need now is a forever home."
Adoption fees for both cats and dogs are $45, which includes the cost of a microchip and a voucher for a spay/neuter procedure.
