JUAREZ - Federal police in Juarez have arrested the suspected leader of Juarez's "La Linea" drug cartel.

Authorities said Javier Gonzalez-Gonzalez, also known as "El Mil Amores", was taken into custody along with three other accomplices.

Gonzalez-Gonzalez is said to be from El Paso.

Officials said he escaped from La Tuna prison seven years ago, after being sentenced to five years in jail.
