El Paso Airport security was operating normally Sunday. This after another scare was reported on another flight headed for Detroit. A passenger on that flight locked himself in the airplane's bathroom and refused to come out. He was suffering from food poisoning, authorities said. The scare caused several airports to increase security, but that was not the case at the El Paso International Airport.
On Christmas Day, a Nigerian man who claimed to be with Al-Qaeda, failed to detonate an explosive device he had while he was on board a flight preparing to land in Detroit.
