Airline passenger complaints have gone up.

Travelers lodged nearly 14-hundred complaints with the Department of Transportation in June, up 44-percent from May, and from last year.

Many of those complaints were directed at United Airlines, which has endured some glitches in its integration of Continental Airlines.

Other gripes included high fares, numerous fees, and full planes.
