Agents arrest teen in alleged marijuana smuggling attempt
Presidio, Texas (KTSM) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents caught nearly 200 pounds of marijuana at the Presidio Port of Entry Wednesday, ending in the arrest of a Minnesota teen, according to a news release.
A drug-sniffing dog and new X-ray system showed hidden drugs in the fuel tank of a Ford Expedition.
Agents recovered 125 bundles in all, estimated to be $150,880 in value.
The 17-year-old driver was arrested.
