Actor Robert Wagner honored at Plaza Film Festival
DOWNTOWN EL PASO — Actor Robert Wagner is in town for the Plaza Film Festival.
The classics movie star was honored for his body of work, including a 65 year career in movies and television.
Friday, Wagner introduced his award winning epic film, "The Towering Inferno," and will talk about his famous co-stars who were also his good friends, including Paul Newman and Steve McQueen.
Wagner spoke with News Channel 9 about his illustrious career, which includes being the author of two books, and one of his favorite roles, as Number Two in "Austin Powers."
Wagner will also introduce his classic 1950's film, "A Kiss Before Dying" at the Plaza Theater Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
He'll also be signing books Saturday at the El Paso Community Foundation room at the Mills Building.
