FORT HOOD, TX - A nurse working inside the soldier readiness processing building where the mass shooting at Fort Hood happened remembered seeing Major Nidal Hasan before the massacre.

The civilian nurse testified that three young soldiers showed no fear and did not try to hide in the face of certain death as a lone gunman approached them during the shooting rampage.

"All three of these kids just stood their ground.  They did not flinch.  They were not afraid of him," Theodore Coukoulis told the Article 32 hearing.  "All three looked directly at the shooter.  They were looking at death and they knew it."

Four people testified today about the shooting rampage that killed 13 people at Fort Hood last year, making the number of those who have testified throughout the hearing so far more than 40.

Today marks Day 5 of witness testimony in the Article 32 hearing - equivalent to a civilian grand jury trial that will determine if Major Nidal Hasan will stand trial.

For this cause there will be no mercy for sinners when they are judged, and the evil-doers will have no place among the upright,
Because the Lord sees the way of the upright, but the end of the sinner is destruction. Psalm 1:5
