Accused drive-thru robber arrested
El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — An El Paso man is under arrest, accused of holding up fast-food restauarant employees in the drive-thrus, according to the El Paso Police Dept.
Officers arrested Steven Garner, 28, Tuesday after he reportedly robbed several restaurants starting at the beginning of July.
Five restaurants were targeted, including the McDonalds in the 1800 block of N. Zaragoza on July 4, the McDonalds in the 7100 block of Gateway East on July 13, the McDonalds at 11200 block of Montana on July 15, the Carl's Jur. in the 10600 block of Montana on August 3, and lastly, the McDonalds in the 5600 block of Montana Tuesday.
Police allege Garner would enter the Drive Thru, show a handgun, demand cash, then drive off.
He was booked into the El Paso County Jail, his bonds totaled $375,000.
