The plot thickens in the EPISD cheating scandal as four more principals and four assistant principals in the district have been removed from their positions. District officials have released their temporary replacements.

Ever since the TEA put sanctions on the El Paso ISD, district leaders have been letting several people go believed to be linked to the scandal.

As of Wednesday, Burges Principal Randall Wood was confirmed removed from his position. Wood has been with the district since 2003. His temporary replacement is Craig Kehrwald.

At Austin High school, Principal John Tanner, who's been with the school since 2008 has been removed, while Nick Cobos takes his position for the time being.

The role of El Paso High School Principal Kristine Ferret who's been with EPISD since 2001, will be overtaken by interim Steve Clay.

Center for Career & Technology Education Principal Luis Loya has been replaced temporarily by Matthew Farley.

According to EPISD’s April 2nd agenda, the positions of four assistant principals will be under review. The schools include Austin, Burges, El Paso, and Jefferson High Schools.
